African Pride Moisture Miracle Review

This is NOT a sponsored review. I began using the African Pride Moisture Miracle line on August 12,2018 so I have been using it for almost three months. When I first got it I used all of the products together except no shampoo was used and I did not use the oil that comes with the line. I am out of everything except for the Moisture & Define Curl Cream. For the amount of thick curly hair, I have that is a good thing. My hair requires much more than a dime sized amount. This line is AMAZING! I love it and will continue to use it. It is one of my new staples, to be honest. The Pre-Shampoo is magical! I looovveee it soooo much! All of them are good but I am obsessed with the pre-shampoo. The entire line gets a 10/10 from me. Each product was priced at $5.49. I bought it at my local beauty supply store but it also is sold at Dollar General.

Alright, let us start with the pre-shampoo. When I say it will take out every knot and tangle that is what I mean! I am in love with this product. I am so upset that I am out. The times that my hair isn’t washed when it is time to be it gets tangled. It doesn’t require you to wet your hair first but mine was with a spray bottle. I give it an 11/10! That is how much I truly love this product. Someone with color treated hair can also use this product as well. Just talking about it makes me want to go get some lol.

I have a love-hate relationship with this conditioner. I love it because it smells magical and is moisturizing… however it is messy messy messy! My towel was covered in brown because of the chocolate in the conditioner. Other than that it is pretty good. I have used other conditioners that are more moisturizing and nourishing. I still recommend it. This product is also color safe. Using this after the pre-shampoo will have you feeling yourself do you hear me! 10/10

The one issue I have with this is you have to sit under the dryer to really see results. Other than that honeyyyy my curls be pop pop pop popping okurrrrt lol. I love that this product includes the Moroccan clay. I think that is really what added that extra moisture to my hair as well. As I said I honestly recommend the entire line including this product. I did not use it every single time my hair was washed but when I needed that extra. 10/10

Think I love the pre-shampoo? HA, you haven’t heard about this leave in yet! I LOVE it. The LOC (Leave-in, Oil, Cream or butter) method is my go to. The Leave-in you use is important to have lasting results. If the leave-in doesn’t work well your style probably won’t last long and will be dry quickly. However, you simply won’t have an issue with this product at all. It does what it promises it hydrates like nobodies business. Another 11/10 from me!

Honey Honey Honey THIS curl cream will have your wash and go on 20 do you hear me! This is the only product from the line I have left and it even has my french braids looking nice. This product alone will have your curls looking like they form that way all the time. I honestly think it also locks in that moisture and seals everything in. I think this is my first love for a curl cream. My hair adores creams and this is the first one that has made me say wow!

All in all, I highly recommend this line. It’s moisturizing, nourishing, & well balanced. All of the products don’t weigh your hair down & make it heavy when used together. My wash & go did dry a little hard but it was not crunchy at all. This line has become a staple & when it’s time to get more products or I just need a conditioner or leave-in or anything this is what I’ll use for sure! 10/10 all across the board. No issues at all with my hair being dry while using it!
